While going through Calia's baby clothes to give to friends, we found this headband/bow that she never wore (because I'm not a fan of headbands on babies)

Unfortunately, Calia loved it and wore it all day. It has since been taken care of.

2 month check up

Nolan went for his 2 month checkup today. In some ways it's hard to believe he's 2 months old. It seems like he's always been with us, then again it seems like yesterday he was born. We knew he was getting big fast by the way he's out growing clothes, but the truth was in the numbers...

Weight 12 lbs 11 oz (75%)
Length 24 1/8 in (90%)
Head 15 5/8 in (50%)

(FYI Calia was 11 lbs 2 oz, 23 1/2 in at 2 mo)

New Buddies...

When I was pregnant with Nolan, I wasn't the only one of our friends and family expecting. I've been so busy with our own new addition, that I have neglected to update on the status of other new little friends...

The Turkeys

Also on Mother's Day, we noticed a large turkey in our yard.

Kevin ran outside to take pictures...

Then, there were 4 turkeys walking behind the burn pile

(look closely, you can see 2 of them)
The next morning Ben called to say he'd shot a turkey behind our house on the power lines...wonder which one it was??
