Potty Training

Calia has been in big girl panties for 4 days now and it's going great. She's been dry all day at daycare, including nap time and has a couple accidents last night at her Yiayia's house. We've had no poop accidents, thank god. Now, we've got a big girl bed sleeping, panty wearing, little girl. what happened to my baby?? Thank goodness for the new baby coming or I'd be severely depressed. That said, baby boy is doing great. He pushed past the 13 cm x 15 cm ovarian cyst that was blocking his way out and is now vertex (head down), so I will not have to have a scheduled c-section. 6 weeks to go until he'll be here. We've got his crib ready and are waiting for an order from babycenter to finish off his room. Calia asks everyday if he's coming. We all can't wait for him to arrive to complete our little family.

The weekend before we went to Florida, we had some company. My girlfriend Shari and her son Jesse came from NC and my friend Karen flew in from California. It's porbably been 15+ years since we were all together. It was great to catch up with them.

Congrats Jeff and Kathrina!

They welcomed a bouncing baby boy on February 14 (his due date) at 7:06am. Felix Parrill Scher weighed 8 lbs and was 20 inches. We can't wait to meet him!

Princesses, more princesses and a mouse

We got back from our Orlando/Disney trip earlier today. Here are a few pictures of Calia with some of the Princesses and Mickey (of course). Belle and Aurora made quite an impression on Calia, she met both twice and had a long conversation with Aurora when we found Sleeping Beauty alone in Epcot with no line (lucky us). The trip was great and Calia now sleeps in a big girl bed (good thing because we have about 7 weeks until the crib is needed. More later...

For Christmas, Calia got a doctor's kit. Just about everyday since, she has performed an examination on my belly and the baby and on Kevin's neck. I've taught her the correct medical terminology of her equipment...this is us reviewing.
